Experience the Academic Excellence at Mercy

Academic excellence is a time-honored tradition at Mercy Academy. Mercy students excel in personalized classes taught by a dedicated and well-educated faculty. With a student to teacher ratio of 14 to 1, students gain the personal attention they need to succeed.

At Mercy, you'll find high quality in a small package. A recent study by the American Legislative Exchange Council found that smaller classes and personalized attention often improve students' performances tests like the SAT and ACT. That dedication to a personalized classroom setting is what Mercy Academy believes in and therefore provides to every student.

Students can choose the path to their futures at Mercy. We offer a variety of electives and core classes to challenge the mind and prepare one for college of the world of work. Classes are available to meet a variety of needs including advanced classes in math, science, foreign language, English, business and social studies; and college level courses in economics, English and French. Over 98% of Mercy graduates pursue higher education, and we're proud to say that Mercy students have won over $17 million in scholarships in the past three years alone.

The Blue Ribbon Schools program was started by the U.S. Department of Education to honor exemplary schools across the nation. Mercy received the designation as a Blue Ribbon School in 2000 and was one of only 111 private schools nation-wide to receive this honor. The Blue Ribbon is awarded based on school excellence in all areas. Mercy's academic program was a key component and was evaluated on all levels by the Council for the Advancement of Private Education and the U.S. Department of Education.
