Travel Opportunities

In just the last few years, Mercy girls have traveled the world. Our students have visited: Florida Keys, New York City, Italy (Rome, Vatican City, Pisa, Assisi, and Florence), Spain (Madrid, Seville, Cordoba, Valencia, Granada, Costa del Sol, Barcelona, and Mijas), England (London, Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, House of Parliament, Kent, Westminister Abbey, Oxford, Stratford-upon-Avon, Kent, Canterbury Cathedral, and the English Channel), France (Paris, Versailles, Loire Valley, Chenonceaux, Amboise, Normandy, and St. Malo).

Exchange Student Program

Mercy Academy partners with El Colegio Santa Ethnea, a Mercy school in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to develop the Mercy Ambassador Exchange Program. Each year, students from Argentina spend four weeks in January/February with our students and participate in retreats, school activities, service, etc. In June, students from Mercy Academy travel to Buenos Aires to study for four weeks over our summer break. This has proven to be an incredible opportunity for language and cultural study and a deeper understanding of the far-reaching mission & charism of the Sisters of Mercy.
