Mercy Pride….In Our Parents!

  • Parent On-Line Community
Our parents have a private on-line community which provides all of the resources they need including on-line grades, uniform information, a parent message board, financial aid information and our on-line book stare. Parents receive a weekly Update From Mercy e-mail each morning to provide them information on the school activities for the upcoming Week.

  • Parent Involvement
We encourage each of our parents to get involved at Mercy. There are many activities coordinated by the Mercy Academy Parent Association for you to become involved with! We think you will find your involvement in one or more of these activities to be very rewarding. You will meet a group of terrific people who, like you, are committed to providing your daughters with a great education in a caring and supportive atmosphere. Your involvement shows your daughter that you support and commitment to her education.

  • The Mercy Academy Parent Association (MAPA)
MAPA plays an important role in providing parent support to the many Mercy activities held during the year. The biggest fundraiser that MAPA is involved with is the Benefit Off Broadway (fondly known as BOB). "BOB" is an evening of excitement with a capital prize, dinner and live & silent auctions which raised a record $103,000.00 for Mercy this year. Without our parent volunteers, this event and Mercy's other fundraisers would not be a success. MAPA members also organize and coordinate social activities for Mercy students and parents such as the Daddy-Daughter dance, chili supper, and the Mother-Daughter Mass, luncheon and fashion show. With the help of the Development Office, MAPA provides assistance with the Freshmen Mass in the fall and the Grandparents Mass in January. MAPA also supports Mercy's Athletic programs by providing the volunteers to work the concession stand and the gate during home basketball and volleyball games.
