Doyle House Wins the 2025 Mercy Academy House Cup!

What a day at Mercy Academy! The cheers were loud, the competition was fierce, and the community spirit was stronger than ever as we hosted the Derby House Cup celebration, the final competition for the Mercy Academy House Cup. 

The annual Derby House Cup brings all students together for an afternoon of fun, games, friendly competition, and of course, lots of laughter. From the moment the Derby House Cup kicked off this afternoon, the energy was electric. Students, faculty, and staff filled the campus with laughter and House spirit as teams battled it out in creative games and fast-paced relays. It was a true celebration of Mercy pride—and a reminder of just how powerful our community can be when we come together.

Callaghan House took first place in today’s Derby House Cup; however, after a full year of challenges, camaraderie, and good-natured rivalry, we’re thrilled to announce the winner of the 2025 Mercy Academy House Cup: Doyle House!

While Doyle may be taking home the trophy this year, every House walked away a winner in the best sense. The Mercy House System continues to do what it does best: build friendships, strengthen leadership, and create a sense of belonging that lasts far beyond a single school year.

We are so proud of the way our students led with joy, teamwork, and class. A huge round of applause goes to Ms. Angie Laemmle, Director of Student Life; our incredible House Deans; our student leaders; and everyone who worked behind the scenes to make today’s celebration such a success.
