Mercy Academy celebrates fall athletes during Fall Sports Glow Pep Rally

Mercy Academy athletes were celebrated in glowing fashion on Wednesday, October 1 during the annual Fall Sports Glow Pep Rally. The yearly tradition brings the school community together to cheer on the golf, volleyball, field hockey, soccer, flag football, and cross country teams while highlighting the energy and spirit that define Mercy athletics.

This year, the event included a spirited student vs. teacher dance-off, glow-themed games, and plenty of cheers from the crowd. Students filled the gym in neon gear and glowing accessories, creating an electric atmosphere of excitement and pride.

This year, a brand new tradition also made its debut: the Mercy Spirit Stick. Awarded to the class that brings the loudest cheers and most spirited energy, the Spirit Stick will stay with the winning class until the next pep rally.

“It really is more than just a pep rally; it showcases the strong school spirit that unites students, athletes, and faculty each year,” said Angie Laemmle, Director of Student Life at Mercy Academy.
