Mercy Academy celebrates special bonds at Father-Daughter Dance

Mercy Academy celebrates special bonds at Father-Daughter Dance

Mercy Academy’s annual Father-Daughter Night brought unforgettable memories to life on Friday, Nov. 14, as families filled the gym for a night of music, laughter and celebration. This year’s event, themed “Dancing Through the Decades,” invited students and their fathers, or special father figures, to hit the dance floor and enjoy an evening full of nostalgic fun.

During the event, guests showed off creative costumes, representing the fashion of bygone eras. The night featured music courtesy of a live DJ, plenty of dancing, a costume contest, games and a photo booth, where families captured keepsake moments from the evening.

The event alternates each year between a dance and a group trip to a baseball game. The next Father-Daughter event will take families to a Louisville Bats game in 2026, with the dance returning in the 2027-28 school year. Mercy Academy also hosts an annual Mother-Daughter Luncheon & Style Show.

Events like these showcase what student life is all about at Mercy Academy: strong bonds, school spirit and shared joy.
