Mercy Academy's BOLD Capital Campaign would not be possible without the incredible efforts of several dedicated Mercy alumnae. One of these amazing volunteers is Peggy Hagerty Duffy.
A 1985 Mercy graduate, Peggy is an integral part of Hagerty Engineering, a female-owned engineering firm based in Jeffersonville, Indiana, specializing in geotechnical and forensic services. With decades of experience in geotechnical engineering, environmental services, and construction materials testing, Peggy has conducted site investigations in diverse geological environments across the south and midwest. She has also evaluated and treated hundreds of sinkholes throughout her career.
Peggy's deep love for her alma mater has led her to contribute her vast expertise to the BOLD Campaign, assisting with the acquisition of 5.5 acres of land adjacent to our current campus. This exciting expansion not only enhances our commitment to student success but also reinforces Mercy's role as a leader in educational innovation. The new land ensures that we will never be landlocked, offering significant space for future growth and development around our Fegenbush campus.
Beyond her geoengineering expertise, Peggy also serves on the BOLD Campaign Leadership Committee, where she provides strategic direction for this transformative initiative.
We are incredibly grateful for Peggy's unwavering dedication to the future of Mercy Academy.
