It’s time to Magnify the Meaning of Mercy!
We are excited to announce a strategic planning process focusing on the future of our beloved Mercy Academy. What does this involve? The first step is identifying and prioritizing goals that will keep us moving forward, and your input is critical in this process.
Mercy is undertaking this effort with the assistance of Barbara Daush and Skip Kotkins of Carney Sandoe and Associates, the nation’s leading consulting firm in working with exceptional independent schools. Barbara and Skip bring decades of school and corporate leadership experience from which we will benefit.
To do this ambitious work, Mercy formed a Strategic Planning Committee (SPC). The following members of our Mercy community, representing alumnae, parents, faculty, etc., will serve on the committee led by Teresa Riggs ’76:
Teresa Kleinhenz Riggs ’76, SPC Chair
Sister Justina Heneghan
Linda Roberts Jackson ’84
Maddy Johnson ’19
Barbara Breckheimer Rasche ’61
Karen Roalofs ’89
Melissa Eckenfels Schoenbachler ’99
Throughout January and February, we will call upon members of our Mercy community to give us their views on aspects that make Mercy special and should not be changed, as well as recommendations for improvements to make us a better school. As the leadership of Mercy Academy, we are energized to do this work! Please see below for opportunities to share your thoughts, including an online survey and virtual group meetings. We thank you for your input and commitment to the future of Mercy Academy!
