Textbooks
The textbook link for your student's freshman year is ready! You can view the required books by clicking the link below. Please be sure to pay close attention to the course levels listed, as some classes have different requirements depending on placement.
MBSdirect.net is the official book supplier for Mercy Academy. If purchasing textbooks from other sources, please verify that the ISBN match these numbers. If you choose to purchase iBooks, you must purchase these through Apple iTunes since MBS can no longer sell Apple products. Also, if you are purchasing an iBook, please wait until JagLife (freshman orientation) on August 4 to purchase. Your student will receive her Mercy iPad and Apple ID at that time and it will be easier for her to download the book using her Mercy Apple ID.
The MBS bookstore opens July 7

KHSAA Dead Period
- June 25-July 9
- Dead Period is a KHSAA sanctioned time during which organized team activities, practices, and coach-supervised activities are prohibited to all Kentucky high schools.
- The dead period is intended to allow athletes a break from organized sports activities, enabling them to focus on academics, family, and personal pursuits. We recommend fall athletes take vacations before or during the dead period so as to prevent missing any practice or game time during their season.
