Affording Mercy Academy

If you are concerned about the cost of tuition, please don't let that stop you from continuing the admissions process with Mercy. We award more than 1 MILLION DOLLARS in tuition assistance annually and we are committed to working with your family to make a Mercy education possible for your student(s).

Need-Based Financial Aid

To be awarded tuition assistance, families must apply and qualify for aid through FACTS. The FACTS financial aid application opens on October 15, and we ask all new families to complete the application by December 31. You will need your 2023 tax return(s), 2023 W-2(s) and most recent pay stub(s) in order to complete the application.

tuition grant money

This pool of money comes from the Mercy Fund and special fundraising events. This is what your family is awarded when you receive financial aid and the amount is take off of the total tuition.

mercy day scholarships

Mercy is proud to offer nearly 50 scholarships funded by generous donors who believe in the power of a Mercy education. These are awarded on an annual basis and are tailored to specific criteria such as a student's scholastic ability, service to the community, love for Mercy, etc. In order to receive a Mercy Day scholarship, your family must apply and qualify for financial assistance (determined by FACTS) and complete the Mercy Day Scholarship application which opens in early February.

Discounts and Scholarships

The following tuition breaks are not contingent on financial aid qualification. If your family meets the requirements, you will receive the tuition discount/scholarship

placement test scholarship

Students who obtain high scores on the high school placement test are eligible to receive a four-year renewable scholarship.

1st Place: $3,000 Scholarship
2nd Place: $2,500 Scholarship
3rd Place: $2,000 Scholarship
90th Percentile: $1,000 Scholarship

sisters' discount

Families with more than one student attending Mercy at the same time receive $2,000 off the oldest student's tuition.
