Placement Test

Saturday, january 13 - 9:00 a.m.

Students in the 8th grade who wish to attend a Catholic high school next year are required to take the high school placement test. We encourage students who are interested in attending Mercy for the 2024-2025 school year take the placement test here on Saturday, January 13.

This is not an entrance exam. The placement test helps us determine the most appropriate course level and academic path for meeting the individual needs of your student. Scores from the December and January placement tests are also used to award merit scholarships:

1st place: $3,000
2nd place: $2,500
3rd place: $2,000
All students in the 90th percentile: $1,000

*All merit scholarships are renewable for four years.
